ERG’s New HQ matches the firm’s commitment to a friendly workplace.
Designing a new headquarters for global consulting firm Eastern Research Group required the Ebbrell Architecture +Design team to incorporate elements that embrace the client’s commitments to environmental protection, sustainability, and worker wellness. The focal point of the fit-out is the large combined reception and lounge/café space at the entry. Inspired by an upscale coffee shop aesthetic, this space is an inviting and comfortable environment for working, socializing and informal collaboration.
- Demolished a small awkward reception area and created an open reception/café/lounge that feels welcoming when employees and visitors enter
- Implemented acoustical wall panels and ceiling baffles at the reception café to add texture, pattern, and a sculptural feature to the open space.
- Reused existing ceiling tiles, lighting, and furniture when possible
- Incorporated flooring products from a carbon neutral manufacturer as well as ceiling baffles and textured wall panels made from 100% recycled materials
