Building repositioning project transforms US Headquarters into a vibrant, expanded workspace and modern clinic
Nestled amidst a wooded suburban site, Lutronic faced a unique challenge - to complete a phased, occupied renovation project to rejuvenate its corporate headquarters' exterior curb appeal, add an accessible entry, modernize the clinic space, and expand and update the corporate office areas. Ebbrell Architecture + Design took this challenge head-on, crafting a transformation that balances functionality, aesthetics, and budgetary considerations.
- Performed a complete cosmetic renovation in the lobby and reception area, including programmatic updates to improve the entry flow with a new waiting area and relocated reception, refreshed materials on the existing monumental stair and a two-story green wall as a focal point.
- Engineered an inclusive entrance redesign, extending the vestibule, incorporating a ramp, and reconfiguring steps to meet accessibility standards, creating a new welcoming entry point to ensure easy access for all visitors and staff.
- Collaborated closely with the client to seamlessly integrate modern office elements such as an expansive open office area, technology-enabled corner board room, and revamped restrooms to optimize functionality and space usage.
- Identified a paint-only design schedule as a cost-conscious way to modernize the front façade of the building.
