A dramatic transformation of an underutilized lower level space provides key tenant amenities to this downtown Boston office building.
Comprised of only 1,300SF located on the lower level of 15 Court Square, this recently-completed amenity project adds four key features to the 11-story downtown building's common area to boost tenant appeal. The project demonstrates how even with a limited amount of space, when thoughtfully conceived, space can be maximized to optimize usability.
- Renovated below-grade unleased space and underutilized storage areas into attractive break areas, fitness spaces, a conference room, and commuter bicycle storage.
- Offset the lack of available natural light by using bright colors, good quality lighting, and large expanses of glazing to create an inviting atmosphere, despite being the building’s lower level.
- Activated the lower level with activity spaces, expanding the usable common area as amenity for the building's tenants.
