Coffee company’s growth fueled by their innovative product, with a fresh new design leading the way at their new home
The imposing building at 21 Great Republic drive in Gloucester, which once housed a food processing plant, is the perfect new place for coffee innovator Cometeer, makers of the first precision-brewed, flash-frozen coffee, to call home. From day one, the first floor food processing plant naturally supported the company’s brewing, freezing, packaging and warehousing needs. The building’s main entry and the office level above, however, needed a serious overhaul to meet the growing company’s functional needs, brand, and office culture.
- Completed renovations in the occupied building in three phases with no downtime
- Developed the high-end sensory bar, where the coffee team performs quality control tests, samples new coffees, and shares the latestbrews with colleagues
- Renovated the entry lobby and three-story monumental stair tower with a custom wall covering and pendant lights, both of which were a nod to Cometeer’s distinct branding and packaging
- Maximized the usable space of the office with a mix of open workstations and collaboration spaces, entered through a newly-designed, branded reception and waiting area
