Repeat client again calls on Ebbrell Architecture + Design to help fit out their new concept for an educational gym and preschool activity campus.

In 2015, the entrepreneurial owners of Little Flippers Swim School and Planet Gymnastics in Natick reimagined an existing building in Winchester as the second Little Flippers location. And when the adjacent space in the building became available in 2020, the client called on Ebbrell Architecture +Design, who had completed the Winchester swim school fit out in 2016, to help realize their new concept—an educational gym and daycare.

• Created a ‘campus’ of early childhood educational and recreational facilities under one roof including swimming, parties/camps, gymnastics and preschool.
• Worked with the client and an early childhood educational consultant to configure the preschool space into four preschool classrooms for the optimal number of students with appropriately apportioned facilities and outdoor space for each room.
• Developed an open gymnastic space with viewing and cubby storage that could work in conjunction with the other programs or independently.
• Maintained existing walls and ceilings where possible to be budget-mindful and refreshed the entire space with new, bright finishes, pops of color and maximized natural light wherever possible.
