To stay competitive in the digital printing industry, the design for Tecnau’s new HQ promotes flexibility
Tecnau’s main goals for their new headquarters were focused on building in flexibility for future growth and the need to adapt over time, while at the same time honoring its strong reputation for automation and customization within the printing industry. Ebbrell’s design team focused its efforts on working with the client to realize this vision for flexibility in its tech-driven company.
- Coordinated sub-consultants’ designs for all new systems (electrical, sprinkler, and HVAC) in an effort to provide for expanded storage and business production.
- Collaborated with Tecnau to develop efficient layouts for their equipment, product inventory, and shelving systems, including a large, 25,000-SF warehouse and manufacturing space
- Promoted flexibility on the manufacturing floor – including overhead cable tray distribution for electrical tie-ins.
- Incorporated new training facilities, a demonstration room, an R&D lab, a machine shop, and an employee café to support company objectives.
