Why did you become an Architect?
I actually had a previous career: Community journalism. Since the newspaper operated on a shoestring budget, I also had to learn graphic design so I could lay out the paper. Architecture uses a similar skill set but in a three-dimensional way. A natural fit for my strength as a problem solver, architecture allows me to lean on my creative talents to come up with the best possible solutions for our clients.
What defines your 15 minutes of fame?
Believe it or not, I was a Junior Olympian in 1989 in alpine ski racing!
What’s at the top of your bucket list?
These days, I’ve been dreaming about some day having a house with a view – I want to wake up and drink my coffee gazing at snow-capped mountains or a glistening lake.
