Newton, MA office to lab conversion accomplished!

One big thing: We used a multi-step design approach to transform an existing 🧱 and beam office and engineering assembly space into a custom 🧪 lab and offices

Design deets:

• Maintained room divisions per landlord’s Phase 1 spec lab layout
• Evolved design in subsequent phases to meet tenant’s specific scientific equipment 🔬 and infrastructure needs
• Adjusted lab furniture and sink layout, door size/locations, and program adjacencies
• Shepherded the tenant through the process of pre-planning for future equipment and expansion needs
