Investment advisory company’s evolving needs are well-served at this prominent Boston Financial District address

Investment advisory company CAPTRUST’s Boston branch needed to expand its office footprint and found the perfect opportunity three floors up in their existing building at 1Liberty Square in Boston’s Post Office Square. Initially the plan was to relocate to a newly fit-out space that would occupy about three-quarters of the top floor of the building in Boston’s financial district, but part -way through the design process due to the client’s evolving needs the decision was made to take the entire floor. Ebbrell Architecture + Design pivoted and replanned the space to occupy the entire floor.

  • Renovated the elevator lobby with CAPTRUST’s signature blue palette, dramatic light fixtures and open ceiling to create a seamless branded experience from the elevators and through the space.
  • Accommodated a large number of private offices to meet the programmatic needs within an existing, non-uniform tapered floorplate, along with open workstations, conference and small meeting rooms, and support spaces.
  • Created a refined but welcoming centrally located staff café that reflects the investment advisory company’s brand
